The Wellington Heat won their first game of the 2017 NBC Tournament with a 7-3 victory over the USA National Team Sunday evening.

The Heat stroked out 11 hits to USA’s 6. They committed two errors, while USA had none.

Wellington’s next game is Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. against the San Diego Waves.

Heat’s overall record is 44-5
