The Park City Rangers survive Heat rally, escape with 4-2 victory

Heat was unable to fight back from the big hole it dug itself into against the Park City Rangers, and Heat lost 4-2 to the Park City Rangers after falling behind by four runs in the seventh inning. 

Heat scored on a solo home run by Maloney in the seventh inning and an RBI double by Heck in the eighth inning. Still, Heat couldn't catch the Park City Rangers. 

 

Alex Polsten boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Park City Rangers. He doubled in the first and second innings and singled in the fourth inning. 

 

 

Bobby Moretti Jr. racked up eight strikeouts in the the Park City Rangers win. Moretti Jr. allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over 6 1/3 innings. 

 

Park City Rangers closer Tanner Raiburn put away the final eight outs to record the save. 

The game's last lead went to the Park City Rangers thanks to a first inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on.
